To “Love”… means that we proactively desire the very best for the ones we love. (John 13:34; Galatians 5:14; James 2:8)

To “Love God”… means that we take seriously the words: “you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your might.” (Deuteronomy 6:5, Matthew 22:37-40) The only way we know how to love God is through loving humankind who are created in God’s image.” (Leviticus 19:18, Matthew 22:39-40)

To “Seek to know Jesus Christ”… means that we are on a pilgrimage seeking to experience the Lord Jesus Christ in the context of Jewish history and culture and the Jesus Christ of the New Testament who is head of the church. (Luke 3:23-38; Ephesians 4:14-16)

To “Minister to each other”… means that we believe that every member of our church is a minister.       (I Corinthians 12:4-11; Ephesians 4:1-13) We believe that every member has been gifted by God with a grace that can be used for the building of the body of Christ.

To be “Inclusive”… means that we believe in the inclusivity of God’s love and that every person is welcome to strive for full membership, service and leadership within our church (John 3:16; John 10:16; Romans 10:12-13; Colossians 3:11; I Timothy 2:3-4)

“Community”… for us begins at our front door steps and includes the global village of State, Nation and World. (Matthews 28:18-20; Acts 1:7-8)

“Through the power of the Holy Spirit” … means that we are called to be who we are by the Holy Spirit and that we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to do the work of witness and ministry. (John 16:5-10; Romans 8:5-11; Ephesians 1:3-14)
